Bathing Beach in Santa Barbara (2016)
Collage digital
The first time that I went to the beach when I was child, I found all the people laying face up, sunbathing motionless and barely breadhing. I thought they were dead and it seemed to me a very absrd way to die. Now I see a metaphor between what I thought as a child and the ill-informed groupthink in today’s society, with fashion, conformism, and everything goes. Globalization. It’s like an aesthetically perfect collective suicide.
