Esta obra se creó como cartel para abrir la exposición colectiva del “Día Internacional contra la violencia machista”, por encargo del departamento de Igualdad del Ayuntamiento de Ibiza, en Noviembre de 2018. Representada por el retrato de una mujer con una mancha en el corazón y una tira de papel rasgado a modo de venda, porque eso es lo que muchos entienden por amor: herir, humillar, tener que aguantar situaciones violenta. El amor no hace daño, si hace daño no es amor. El amor se disfruta, se comparte, se mima, se cuida, se comprende. Amar es amar, no maltratar.

This work was created as a poster to open the collective exhibition of the «International Day against gender violence», commissioned by the Department of Equality of the City of Ibiza, in November 2018. Represented by the portrait of a woman with a spot on the heart and a strip of paper torn as a bandage, because that is what many people understand for “ove: to hurt, to humiliate, to have to endure violent situations. Love does not hurt, if it hurts it is not love. Love is enjoyed, shared, pampered, cared for, understood. To love is to love, not mistreat.
